# Painted Hulls > Send one photograph of your boat and get her back painted in 12 traditions of marine painting, her lines, rig, colours and name kept as photographed. Printed up to 40 × 60″. ## What it is A marine painting studio. Owners upload one photograph of their own boat (sailboat, motor yacht, fishing boat, narrowboat, canoe, rowing shell, dinghy) and get her back painted in one of 12 marine-painting traditions in four rooms, sold as fine-art prints and canvas. The engine keeps her hull lines, sheer, freeboard, rig and sail plan, superstructure, colour and waterline as photographed; the name on her transom is the only lettering in the picture. Refused: people's faces in the render (crew stay small figures), naval or military vessels, added logos, flags, burgees or wordmarks, and any boat sinking, wrecked or in distress. A photograph that is not of a boat is refused before the engine sees it. Painted Hulls by Painted.App. Run by PaintedApp, LLC, Portland, Oregon. Support: support@painted.app. ## How it works - One photograph: the whole boat in frame, side-on or on the quarter, in daylight. Phone photos are fine. A marina full of masts is not: one boat gets picked, and it may not be yours. - One style: the same recipe that painted the two sample boats on the wall is run on yours. The prompt is built on the server, so what you get is the style you chose. - About ninety seconds: the upright lands at 1024 × 1536 and the broadside at 1536 × 1024. Keep it as a file, or buy it as a print up to 40 × 60″. What you see on screen is what goes to the printer, rebuilt at print resolution the moment you pay. - Her name and home port, if you want them: the type desk sets them under the painting in the lettering of its period. The engine never letters the picture. No builder, sponsor or club names. - Passes: every visitor gets 4 free passes. One pass is one render of one photograph, returned as an upright and a broadside. After those, 10 more passes cost $10. - Looking is free and every render is yours to refuse: only the one you chose is printed. - Your photograph goes to the engine twice, once for the upright and once for the broadside, and is not kept. The render is stored so it can be printed: keep one and it lands on your wall, and write to support@painted.app and we delete it. - A paid print order waits an hour before it goes to the printer; inside that hour it can be cancelled and refunded in full. Files are delivered on payment. ## Pricing USD, the prices the checkout charges. Postage is added at checkout: a flat rate by size and region, set from the printer's own quotes. ### Wall - Fine art print: 12 × 18″ $65 · 16 × 24″ $85 · 20 × 30″ $130 · 24 × 36″ $190 · 27 × 41″ $220 · 30 × 45″ $270 · 40 × 60″ $440 - Museum print: 12 × 18″ $100 · 16 × 24″ $130 · 20 × 30″ $190 · 24 × 36″ $250 · 40 × 60″ $600 - Stretched canvas: 12 × 18″ $130 · 16 × 24″ $170 · 20 × 30″ $220 · 24 × 36″ $310 - Float-framed canvas: 12 × 18″ $210 · 16 × 24″ $280 · 20 × 30″ $370 · 24 × 36″ $450 ### Worn and goods - T-shirt: $75 - Crewneck: $120 - Hoodie: $130 - All-over tee: $130 - All-over sweatshirt: $200 - All-over hoodie: $230 - Bomber jacket: $270 - Women's tank: $110 - Men's tank: $120 - Socks: $45 - Phone case: $55 - Mug: $45 - Throw pillow: 18 × 18″ $100 · 22 × 22″ $110 - Fleece blanket: 50 × 60″ $150 · 60 × 80″ $210 - Jigsaw puzzle: 252 pieces $85 · 520 pieces $130 - Tote bag: $100 ### The file (personal renders only) - The file: This one $20 · Both shapes $30 Ships to 121 countries. ## Key pages - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/ · home: the render engine and the 12 styles - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/faq · questions, the short answers ### Styles - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/styles/dutch_calm_1660 · Dutch Calm 1660: Your boat, becalmed on a Dutch roadstead, 1660 - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/styles/luminist_1860 · Luminist 1860: Your boat, on glass water at the last light - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/styles/turner_weather · Turner’s Weather: Your boat, at the centre of Turner’s weather - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/styles/cowes_1895 · Cowes 1895: Your boat, at full speed off Cowes, 1895 - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/styles/regatta_lithograph_1887 · Regatta Lithograph 1887: Your boat, racing in a hand-coloured lithograph - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/styles/signal_gouache · Signal Gouache: Your boat, in the colours of the signal locker - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/styles/lines_plan · Lines Plan: Your boat, drawn as her designer drew her - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/styles/cyanotype_1910 · Cyanotype 1910: Your boat, in white line on yard blue - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/styles/sea_chart · On The Chart: Your boat, sailing across a sea chart - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/styles/harbour_watercolour · Harbour Watercolour: Your boat, on her mooring at slack water - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/styles/edo_woodblock · Edo Woodblock: Your boat, cut in cherry wood and Prussian blue - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/styles/argenteuil_1874 · Argenteuil 1874: Your boat, in broken colour at Argenteuil ## Policies - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/privacy · privacy policy - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/terms · terms of service - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/cookies · cookie policy - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/refunds · refunds and returns - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/legal · every policy and a dated changelog - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/about · who runs it - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/sitemap · every page - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/llms-full.txt · everything here plus every answer the site gives - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/privacy-choices · your privacy choices - https://paintedhulls.vercel.app/robots.txt · crawler policy: the catalogue and style pages are open to every engine; /api/, /account, /order/ and /print/ are personal and stay out - Contact: support@painted.app (PaintedApp, LLC)
